Understand the term sheet before you negotiate
Hey Savio is a tool we're thinking about building. It would explain term sheets and SAFEs in plain English: what common clauses mean, how a document differs from widely used public templates, and what to ask your lawyer. It doesn't exist yet. If you'd use it, join the waitlist.

What we're planning to build
A plan, not a product. Features may change or never ship, depending on what people on the waitlist tell us.
Clause explainer
Plain-English explanations of common financing terms: valuation cap, discount, liquidation preference, pro-rata rights, anti-dilution, board seats.
Template comparison
See where a document's wording differs from published templates such as the Y Combinator post-money SAFE or the NVCA model documents. Different from a template doesn't automatically mean bad.
Dilution calculator
Enter your own numbers and see how SAFEs convert and how ownership changes across a round. Arithmetic on your inputs, not a recommendation.
Questions for your lawyer
A checklist of topics worth raising with a qualified lawyer, so the time you pay for goes further. Questions, not answers.
- ✓Explain what financing terms generally mean
- ✓Show how wording compares to public templates
- ✓Do dilution math on numbers you enter
- ✓Suggest questions to take to a lawyer
- ×Give legal advice or act as your lawyer
- ×Tell you whether to sign, or what to counter with
- ×Write negotiation language for your deal
- ×Replace a lawyer's review of your documents
Where things stand
Nothing is built yet. There's no beta, no testers, no customers and no pricing. We put this page up to find out whether enough founders want a tool like this to be worth building. If we build it, people on the waitlist hear first. If we decide not to, we delete the list.
Questions
Short answers.
Can I use Hey Savio today?
No. It isn't built. Joining the waitlist is the only thing you can do right now.
Is this legal advice?
No. Hey Savio isn't a law firm, and using it wouldn't create an attorney-client relationship. It's meant to help you understand documents in general terms so your conversations with a lawyer are better informed. For decisions about your own deal, talk to a qualified lawyer.
How much will it cost?
We haven't decided, and we may not charge at all. Joining the waitlist is free and commits you to nothing.
Can I upload documents?
Not yet. Nothing can be uploaded because the tool doesn't exist. If we build it, we'll publish how documents are handled before anyone can upload one.
What happens to my email?
We store it so we can tell you if Hey Savio launches, and we may ask you a question or two about what you'd need. We don't sell it or upload it to ad platforms. You can remove yourself any time. See the privacy policy.
